Regency Hospice

At no other time do family and friends have a greater need to keep in touch and bridge the miles separating them than during a major health event.  Caring Bridge, a non-profit organization, addresses this need by providing a free, easy-to-construct web site for communicating updates in real time.

 

Its mission is to bring together a global community of caring powered by the love of family, friends and those enduring similar life trials.  Communication is centralized by way of the web site and eliminates the burden of updating everyone in the family and friends network when a loved one is going through a health-related crisis.

 

What's more, by widening the network of communication to include others who may have experienced or be experiencing the same difficulties, the family and patient are comforted by knowing they are not alone and that others empathize with them and can lend support and information.

 

Each web site is unique and Caring Bridge walks the user through easy-to-understand steps to customize their site, including pictures, journal entries and a guestbook.  For many, the experience of a major health crisis is a new one.  Caring Bridge provides support and information to help make it less frightening and uncertain.

 

We believe that knowledge is power.  By partnering with organizations like Caring Bridge, our hospices provide yet another avenue to empower its patients and families as they move through a difficult life event.
