“On behalf of my family I want to thank you and all the Regency Hospice folks for the kindness shown to all of us. This year without Mama was made a little easier with your caring and support. Mama loved you all and the times she shared with you, each of you. Thank you for giving her such wonderful care and friendship when she needed it most. “
Our Approach
We understand the needs of patients and families facing life-limiting illness. We personalize our care to help meet those needs during emotional times. Through our support network, we fill in the gaps that are so difficult for an individual or family to tackle alone. It’s a body, mind and soul approach, that gives crucial attention to mental and physical well being.
We coordinate care between physicians and provide social workers and home health aides to handle care at home, or in another setting. Beyond the day-to-day care staff, we also keep families' clergy members informed about needs and offers volunteers who provide emotional support through laughter and tears. Managing the various needs of a prolonged illness can be challenging, but our network of professionals can take on the complicated aspects of care leaving the more time for the patients and families to deal with the other meaningful aspects of life.
Living life with meaning and dignity
The ability to stay in a home or other comfortable setting is by far preferable, for most people. That’s why the trend for in-home hospice care is growing, giving individuals the opportunity to be free from pain and still be with family and friends.
In these home settings, we provide access to physicians and pharmacists, as well as an interdisciplinary team, to help plan and coordinate treatment. The essentials of care are never forgotten--we can provide everything from medical equipment to services for pain management and symptom control.
The mind, body and soul
Our partners work together to provide a consistent, compassionate level of support—it’s a commitment to meaningful personalized attention during each and every visit. Our staff are committed to helping individuals with life-threatening illnesses because they want to help. It’s a hard time for everyone involved, but it doesn’t have to be devoid of personal meaning.
