Chaplain (PT)

Chaplain to provide spiritual care for hospice patients and their families.  This team serves those patients who reside in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Independent Living Facilities.  Required: BS or BA from an accredited College or University.  Master's Degree in Theology or Counseling from an accredited Seminary or University.  Two years experience of pastoral care ministry and Clinical Pastoral Education.  Hospice experience required.

Chaplain/Bereavement Services Coordinator (FT)

Regency Hospice Rock Hill (1 FT) to provide spiritual care for hospice patients and their families.  This team serves those patients who reside in homes, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Independent Living Facilities. Responsible as a member of the interdisciplinary team for the bereavement program to include the provision of supportive services to help meet patient/family social service and emotional needs in bereavement.  Required: BS or BA from an accredited College or University.  Master's Degree in Theology or Counseling from an accredited Seminary or University.  Two years experience of pastoral care ministry and Clinical Pastoral Education.  Hospice experience required 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Regency Hospice Pensacola, Florida (1 FT), New Beacon Alabaster/Sylacauga (1 FT) (FT)

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Regency Hospice Pensacola, Florida (1 FT), New Beacon Alabaster/Sylacauga (1 FT) Responsible for overall administration of the hospice program, for ensuring the provision of quality care of its patients and for ongoing evaluation of services and staff. Responsible for day-to-day operations of assigned hospice programs. Coordinates services of all team members. Must be a Registered Nurse with a BSN from an accredited school of nursing and three years experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting; one year management experience and two or more years Hospice, home health or oncology required. Three years in management and three or more years hospice experience desired. Must have current RN and driver’s license.

Volunteer Coordinator (PT)

Location: Regency-Augusta
Regency Hospice Augusta (1 PT) For an individual to coordinate, plan, direct recruiting, train and develop volunteer activities to meet the needs of the Hospice program.  Desire B.S. degree in business, social/behavioral science or related area, and six months to one year experience with Hospice or coordinating volunteers.

Nurse Liaison (FT)

Regency Hospice Columbia (1 FT)Responsible for evaluation of all referrals to Hospice including, but not limited to patient/family assessment, medical record review, and evaluating for Hospice appropriateness, and discharge planning.  Assists with contacts/educational offerings to physicians and their staff.  Required: Registered Nurse with Bachelors in Nursing and a minimum of five years hospice experience.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Experience as a discharge planner, case manager, and/or educator desired.  Must have current RN license and a driver's license.

Pharmacy Coordinator (FT)

Responsible for reviewing and analyzing drug utilization for the Hospice patient population, including formulary management, staff and physician education and implementation of protocols to assist in decision making processes. Required is a B.S. Pharmacy with Pharm.D desired.  Experience required is a minimum 2 years pharmacy practice, preferably in institutional setting.  Two (2) years experience in home care or hospice desired.  Must have current license to practice pharmacy in at least one of the following states Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. 

Social Worker (FT)

Location: Regency-Augusta
Regency Hospice Augusta (1 FT)Participates in the development of the plan of care for each hospice patient and provides direct social work services.  Duties include assessing the patient/family psychosocial response to terminal illness, participates in quality improvement programs, assists patient/family and agency staff in utilizing community resources, explores and evaluates financial situation and identifies appropriate resources as needed, documents all interventions accurately, completely, and on a timely basis, and assists team members in understanding the significant social and emotional factors related to care of a terminally ill patient and family.  B.S.W./L.B.S.W. required.  Preferred M.S.W.  Three years with adult clients required.  Must possess current professional license and a driver’s license.  

Certified Home Health Aide/CNA FT (FT)

CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AIDE/CNA New Beacon Anniston/Gadsden (2 FT), New Beacon Alabaster/Sylacauga (2 FT)  Responsible for providing direct, safe, quality personal care to patients in their homes.  Must be able to read and write.  Prefer High School graduate or G.E.D.  One year of health care experience preferred.  Prefer completion of the Home Health Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program, and passed competency exam with score of 70 or above or received certification as Certified Home Health Aide.  Must pass skills checklist.  Provides direct personal hygiene and care to patients per HHA requisition, following established policy and procedure.  Provides timely and accurate patient information through documentation and verbal reports.  Demonstrates effective and efficient use of supplies, equipment and other resources.  Recognizes and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse immediately and documents observations.  Maintains knowledge of current HHA practice.   

RN (FT)

RN New Beacon Gadsden (1 FT) Provides nursing care in homes or in nursing homes of acutely or terminally ill patients regardless of age and instructs families and caregivers on patient care and symptom control.  Diploma or A.D. in Nursing required.  Prefer B.S. in Nursing.  One year general nursing experience required.  Desire Hospice, Home Care, medical surgical or critical care experience.  Provides high quality, safe nursing care as ordered by the physician.  Provides timely and accurate documentation within the specified time frame.  Implements appropriate nursing practice, following Hospice policies and procedures.  Uses supplies, equipment or other resources effectively and efficiently.  Maintains knowledge of current practice.  One year of hospice care experience preferred.  Qualified candidates must have current license and driver’s license.
